1.DAYS:
Upon arrival to airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv for an overnight.
2.DAYS: Tel Aviv – Beer Sheba- Masada Dead Sea
After a rich breakfast, leave Tel Aviv. Drive by Ashdod and Ashkelon to Beersheba. A short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse and the storage halls. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps, the Ramp and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible “float” in the salty water of the world’s lowest place. Drive by the Oasis of Ein Gedi and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Arrive to the Holy City of Jerusalem for overnight.
3.DAYS: Jerusalem – Sightseeing of the New City
After a rich breakfast, drive to Mt’ Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. On to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of Agony. Continue to the Israel Museum, to visit the Shrine of the Book where the famous Dead Sea scrolls are exhibited. Visit to the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of Jesus and the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). In the afternoon, drive to the picturesque village of Ein Karem the birth place of John the Baptist. Return to your Hotel.
4.DAYS: Jerusalem – (Old City) – Bethlehem
After a rich breakfast, Walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City. Visit the renewed Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall. Walk through the colorful bazaars and enjoy the beautiful small shops in this famous market. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the 14 Stations of the Cross. Visit Golgotha and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mount Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the Afternoon continue to Bethlehem* to visit the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem for overnight.
5.DAYS: Beit Shean – Tiberias – Galilee
After a rich breakfast, Leave Jerusalem, and drive north. On the way view Jericho*, considered to be the oldest city in the world, established 10.000 years ago. Drive along the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful preserved Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, one of the 4 Holy Cities in Israel and the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight.
6.DAYS: Upper Galilee and Golan Heights – Nazareth
After a rich breakfast, drive to the Golan Heights via Banias, the main source of the Jordan River. Visit a former Syrian fortification, and pass some of the Druze villages located on the Golan Heights. Proceed to the Hula Valley to Safed, the Kabala City, considered as the center of the mystical studies of the Bible. Visit one of the old synagogues and the artists’ colony. Drive to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of Annunciation, the most modern church in the Holy Land. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.
7.DAYS: Acre – Haifa – Tel Aviv
After Breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa. Sightseeing tour of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel, where from you will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city and the bay. Proceed along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress. End the day with a short city tour of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Check in your hotel for overnight.
8.DAYS: Tel Aviv– Transfer to Airport – End of Tour
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
